GETTING READY FOR EXAMS 4th GRADERS

 

4th A-B GRADERS

 Mis estimados espero se encuentren bien.  Además de los números deben repasar estos temas para los próximos exámenes.

• THERE IS ..../THERE ARE...

Les recuerdo que las dos expresiones significan lo mismo en español: HAY pero usamos:

                             THERE IS....... para el SINGULAR

                             THERE ARE ..... para el PLURAL

Por ejemplo:             THERE IS one/a  cat

                                   THERE ARE two cats

• PREPOSITIONS OF PLACE 

Son las palabras que nos indican dónde se encuentran las cosas, animales o personas. En este caso, la ubicación del gatito en relación a una caja y a otro gatito.  Ellas son:

 Por ejemplo: There is a cat  in the box (Hay un gato EN la caja)   

 

          Les recuerdo que esta tarea ya la hicimos en clases. Se las envío por si no pudieron hacerla corregir.

1.  There is a cat   IN  the box.
2. There is a cat ON  the box.
3. There is cat UNDER the box.
4. There is cat IN FRONT OF  the box.
5. There is cat  BEHIND  the box.
6. There is cat  NEXT TO  the box.
7. There is a cat ABOVE the box.
8. There a cat BELOW the box.
9. There is cat  BETWEEN  the box.
10. There is cat ON THE LEFT (of the box)
11. There is cat OPPOSITE  another cat
12. There is cat  ON THE RIGHT (of the box)
